The De La Salle Green Archers have claimed the first UAAP Finals slot by downing the 3rd ranked FEU Tamaraws, 67-62. Mac Baracael missed two critical free throws for the Tams with less than 30 ticks left on the game clock, which later paved the way for 1-2 foul shots made by DLSU's James Mangahas to up the Archers' lead to three. FEU had one last chance to tie the game with a Paul Sanga leaner three, which came up short. With a James Mangahas breakaway layup at the buzzer, the De La Salle Green Archers punched their ticket to the UAAP's final round, putting them on a collision course with either 4th seeded UE, or top seeded Ateneo.
Now it's time for red versus blue, UE versus Ateneo. Let's get it on!
